  1. Hi! My name is Massimiliano. I came from Italy! I’m a computer science student at Milan University. My topic research are: storage, backup and cluster computing.
I want make you congratulations for this blog. It’s very easy e clear. The topics are very interest and you got excellent linux skill! :)

Therefore, I have a question for you. Have you more information or pdf file on LVS-Load Balance topic?

    On this blog: http://kezhong.wordpress.com/2010/02/28/implementing-load-balance-on-centos-5-4/

I don’t understand something. I have my cluster, ok. My router/director is up and running. Thus my cluster and my director have eth0 interfaces up! There is a LAN in middle between cluster (RHCS) and director. It’s easy! But you configure eth0:0 or lo:0 for make LVS system. Why?

    Thanks for your answer!!
    Bye

    Max

  2. 文章写的不错,*nix rocks :-)

  3. Hi, My name is Jian Wu. We are building a linux director using ldirectord which we can use to direct traffic to two web servers, but we still cannot ping the VIP. Everything seems to be the same as your post on the load balancing. Would you be able to help? I cannot find your email. If you are interested, we can add you into author list for a paper. My email: fanchyna at psu dot edu. Thanks.

    • Hi, I don’t know which post you read. I posted several regarding load balancing, so maybe I ignored something such as setting /etc/sysctl.conf at latter posts.
